THERMAL EXPANSION


MODEL 1101 conventional vertical fused quartz dilatometer. Single or dual specimens, regular or large size samples. Up to four instruments can be clustered around one computer. Absolute or differential (dual pushrod) types. Operating temperature range -150°C to 1200°C, covered in various segments by different sub-models. Designed for carbon anode testing and large cored samples.



MODEL 1091 conventional horizontal fused quartz dilatometer. Single, dual or quad sample configuration. Temperature range -150°C to 1000°C; covered in segments by various sub-models. Fast cycle IR furnace option.

MODEL 1161 high temperature vertical alumina dilatometer with ambient to 1650°C range. Counter-balanced absolute or differential (dual pushrod) types. Also available for large size samples. Especially suitable for sintering studies. Option for safe operation in reducing atmospheres.

UnithermTM 1252 Ultra High Temperature Dilatometer

MODEL 1252 ultra-high temperature vertical graphite dilatometer system with a RT to 2800°C range with proprietary optical pyrometer temperature sensing. Absolute or differential (dual pushrod) types. Counter-balanced pushrod makes this device very useful in ultra-high temperature sintering studies. Fully computerized system.

WorkHorse ™ Dilatometers are rugged production devices intended for quality control and limited development work. Extremely small footprint, stand-alone instrumentation, and a modest price makes it a good choice for a multitude of applications. RT to 1000°C or 1550°C.

QuickLine ™ -05 manual horizontal dilatometers from RT to 500°C or 1000°C. Digital temperature controller and digital displacement transducer. Economical for educational and quality control labs.



THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY


QuickLine ™ -30 is a very low cost thermal properties analyzer with interchangeable surface and needle probes for a wide variety of materials in environments from -20°C to 70°C. Portable operation for field use or process control. Test times in minutes.

MODEL 2022 Guarded Heat Flow Meter for testing of polymers, ceramics, metals and other materials of low to medium thermal conductivity. Also capable of testing viscous fluids. Temperature Range -20°C to 300°C. Available as a manually operated instrument or fully computerized system. Conforms to ASTM E1530.

QuickLine ™-10 is a lower cost guarded heat flow meter instrument for operation at ambient temperature. An automated version is available for QA applications. Conforms to ASTM E1530.

UnithermTM 2022 Thermal Conductivity Measuring System

MODEL 3141 Transient Hot Wire Method available in several temperature ranges covering RT to 1500°C with single or multiple sample placements. Useful in testing insulators (fire bricks, refractory ceramic fibers, etc.) using Windows™ operating and data analysis software. Conforms to ASTM C-1113.

MODEL 6000 Guarded Hot Plate for testing of thermal insulations and other materials of low thermal conductivity. Models cover ranges from -180°C to 550°C. Sample size 300 mm square, maximum sample thickness 75 mm. Fully computerized system. Conforms to ASTM C177 and ISO 8302.

FlashLineTM 3000 Thermal Properties Analyzer

FLASHLINE ™ 3000 is a moderately priced system for temperatures from -180°C to 1000°C. It uses a high speed xenon discharge (HSXD) pulse source to test larger, coarse-grained materials (refractories, carbons, rocks, etc.) and composites. Multiple sample capability allows specific heat capacity measurement and thermal conductivity determination.

FLASHLINE ™ 5000 series is a modular laser flash system that can be configured to satisfy the most diverse requirements from insulators to highly conductive materials. It can be supplied with one or several different furnaces to cover a temperature range from -180°C to 2700°C, and to accommodate single or multiple specimens. The state-of-art high speed electronics and the extensive dedicated software based on the best available theoretical and practical foundations generated in the past twenty five years.
